Description

Small high intensity, low impact, group sessions specifically designed to build strength, fitness and stamina over a rolling 4 week period. Each participant's workout is scaled to their ability and fitness level.

You can join in any week you don't have to wait for week 1 to participate. A very time efficient and effective way to train and by nature very metabolic - ie. there is little rest between exercises, unless you need it, and therefore you'll work at a consistently higher heart rate with a relatively high caloric burn both during and after your workout.

We've tracked various workouts at between 250 - 300cals expended during each session. The caloric burn from these workouts will follow you through the rest of your day! This is more officially known as excess post-exercise oxygen consumption or simply, EPOC. Several studies suggest there's a strong correlation between the number of calories burned post exercise and the activity's intensity.


Program

 

Week 1:

100% Strength training on the Gravity Trainer (GTS).

Week 2:

An interval strength training session between the GTS and the TRX strength straps.

Week 3:

'Ride and Glide' - An interval training session alternating between the Spin Bikes and the GTS. This particular week you'll burn an extra 100 - 150 Calories per session.

Week 4:

An interval training session between the TRX and the GTS interspersed with drills and games focussing on hand eye coordination, mobility, strength and unconventional movement patterns whilst raising your heart rate and burning fat. All designed to get you feeling and moving better!
